ORE 23.30 : PLASTIC MAN IN CONCERTO

I Plastic Man sono una band di Firenze formatasi all’inizio del 2012 e composta da 4 elementi: Raffaele (chitarra, voce), William (chitarra,voce) Diletta (basso, voce), Leonardo (batteria).
Le loro influenze psych-beat sixties si mescolano ad un sound retrò e moderno allo stesso tempo in cui si mischiano elementi garage, punk, psych e pop. Le scelte del suono e degli effetti delle chitarre ricadono su fuzz, tremoli e riverberi che mostrano lo sbocco naturale della band: riproporre un rock come i Plastic Man lo intendono, ragionato ma non troppo, istintivo, fresco.
A fine Novembre 2013 esce il primo ep in un 7 pollici con l’etichetta romana Misty Lane.
Successivamente la band apre a importanti band come King Khan & The BBQ Show e condivide il palco con Mick Quinn, storico bassista dei Supergrass. Tra i concerti più importanti , da ricordare è il concerto di capodanno 2014 a Firenze,una serata in cui la band si esibisce davanti a 30mila spettatori. Dopo svariati concerti in italia, nel mese di Aprile i Plastic Man hanno suonato in Francia nell’ambito di un tour di 2 settimane.

Adesso sono pronti al lancio del debut album, uscito a Marzo 2015 su Black Candy records.

Plastic Man are an italian garage psych band formed in 2012. Influenced by beat, psychedelic, nuggets compilations and late 60’s music in general, the band from Florence is made of 4 elements: Raffaele (guitar and lead vocals) ,William (guitar and backing vocals), Diletta (bass guitar and backing vocals), Leonardo (drums) and mixes retrò and modern styles producing songs with a neo-psychedelic flavour. Their music involves also other elements like acid rock, rockabilly, surf, progressive,garage punk and stoner. The effects on voice and guitar, such as tremolo, fuzz, delay and reverb, reveal their aim: reproducing a fresh, natural,genuine and up-to-date garage psych sound. Plastic Man’s first release is a 4 track EP in vinyl produced by Misty Lane (November 2013). After over a year of live shows in Italy and a tour in France (April 2014), the band’s debut album (“Don’t Look At The Moon”) will be realesed in March 2015 on Black Candy Records.
